An Emerging Ballerina
Having trained at English National Ballet School, Isabelle joined English National Ballet in 2014, and has gone on to a roaring start in the world of dance.
I started ballet at age 7 in Romania and was privately trained until 2008. I participated in the Youth America Grand Prix in 2007 and 2008, winning 2nd Place at the Denver Semi Finals for the former and reaching the final for both competitions. In 2008, I joined the Royal Ballet School White Lodge, and continued on to the English National Ballet School in 2011. During my training at ENBS, I was given the opportunity to take part in the Young British Dancer of the Year, where I won 2nd place in 2013, the Prix de Lausanne in 2013 and the Genée International Ballet Competition where I was awarded a Silver Medal, as well as performing in international galas including at the Fenice Theatre in Venice.
In 2014, I joined the English National Ballet, where I’ve performed roles such as Louise, Lead Flowers and Lead Snowflakes in The Nutcracker and Odalisque in Le Corsaire. I was a finalist for the 2015 and 2016 Emerging Dancer Competition.
